    Electronics engineers work with devices that use extremely small amounts of power. They work with microprocessors, fiber optics, and in telecommunication, television, and radio and many other types of equipment.

    Electronics and Communication Engineering is the branch that deals with designing and testing circuits that use the electromagnetic properties of electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors and transistors to achieve a particular functionality. The focus in the study programme is on understanding electronic networks and devices, electromagnetic field theory, computer fundamentals, as also their protection, and communication and control systems.

    The aim is to develop in young technocrats, an ability to solve design oriented problems in electronic circuits and various communication systems. Ā Specialized knowledge is imparted regarding simulation of various processes using ORCAD, MAT LAB, DSP, Microwave engineering, VLSI design tools etc. Ā An electronics engineer can be employed in the public and private sector industries and organizations such as the Indian Telephone Industries, MTNL, National Physical Laboratories, AIR, Civil aviation, and the police wireless departments.

    Electronics engineers are also absorbed into the entertainment transmission industry, research establishments, and defense. They can also take up teaching and research in one of the many engineering colleges in India or abroad.

    Electronics engineers are changing the world to a comfortable global home. On the advances of Electronics, the information technology revolution has been built. The Electronics & Communication Engineering provides the career opportunities in software industries, core industries as well as in the public sectors. The students perform laboratory experiments mostly on bread boards. All the hardware projects are done under the guidance of experienced faculty and technical staff that increase their practical knowledge. Presently college is organizing practical trainingsĀ on Basic Microcontrollers, PIC Microcontrollers, Basic Robotic skills and PCB designing etc.

    ECE department has introduced concept of Technical club which has basically 6 Teams and each team comprising of students from Second, Third and Final year. Main objective of this club is to enhance the technical knowledge of students and to make sure each student participate in activities which will boost their confidence eventually about themselves. Also, team building activities will be the part of this club to make sure students from all years interact with each other and seniors can mentor juniors as and when required.
